The Nordsnø Ensemble is dedicated to blending Scandinavian folklore with elements of contemporary jazz. Ethereal soundscapes, penetrating rhythms, and lyrical vocals transport listeners into the mystical moods of Scandinavian folk songs. In addition to interpreting traditional pieces, the ensemble creates its own folklore-inspired compositions.
The Nordsnø Ensemble is a recipient of the “Jazz Hoch im Kurs” award.
